Prof. Amos Neheman graduated in 1997, cum laude, from the Faculty of Medicine of the Technion in Haifa. He specialized in urology at the Carmel hospital, Haifa. In 2005 he expanded his professional expertise in pediatric urology and laparoscopis surgery at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia, and the DuPont Children Hospital, Wilmington,DE, USA. Today Prof. Neheman is a specialist urologist, senior surgeon and chairman of the Urology Department at Meir Medical Center. He serves as a private urologist at the Assuta Medical Center in Tel Aviv and at the Herzliya Medical Center, where he provides consultations and performs urologic surgery, including robotic surgery for adults and children.

What is a urologist?
A urologist is a medical doctor who specializes in the urinary tract, the kidneys, bladder, urethra and the organs and tissues surrounding them. When do we seek help from a urologist?
